Cestr' [Chester] which were held by John del Dounes dcsd., in chief of the king as earl of Cestr' [Chester] by knight service on the day of his death; to John Sauage junior and James de Legh of Adlyngton [Adlington], upon sureties of John Sauage Kt., Hugh de Rediche, James de Vernon, William de Honford.
