Contract of Marriage; marriage of John son and heir of John Shalcros, to Agnes sister of Robert Downes, granted for £40 payable by party 1 to party 2. Party 2 to give his son 20 marks and assure to him an estate in land (to be assessed by Counsel approved by party 1) in fee simple to the value of 40s. per annum over and above all charges. Party 2 is bound in £100 to ensure descent or remainder of his lands to his son at his death; both parties bound in £100 for execution of contract.
