Certificate of delivery of 20 sheep belonging to "Our Lady of Dovnes Chapell in Pott", let to farm for 3 years at 4d. per head per annum to be levied from the profits made by them; with power of distress to the value of the sheep (33s.4d.) for default of payment, given to the "wardence" of the chapel.

Physical DescriptionParchment: 1 membrane 12½" wide by 6". Seal tongue. Seals: Two pendant on a tongue; (1) nearest doct., a pear-shaped lump of red wax, part of an impression which seems to have been round, 10mm diam, device an "R" (2) smaller lump of red wax, unintelligible cross device; wax is 15mm by 10mm.
