Bond in 10 marks upon party 1 to Warranty in respect of lands - the land of Le Hope - which have been leased by party 1 to party 2; and guarantee in 40s. payable to the Justiciar of Cestre' or any other officer of Cestrecir' [Chester] to whom the penalty be assigned, and upon pain of excommunication in the jurisdiction of the archdeacon of Cestre' [Chester], to make good the damages incurred by failure to Warranty.
