Surrender and Admittance (Fine 20d.) for term of life provided that if Lawrence Downes inherit the maritage of any woman worth to him 100s., or if he have been promoted to any benefice of the church worth 100s per ann., then the estate to revert to Roger Dounes immediately, in a messuages and lands in the township of Pot Shriggeley [Pott Shrigley] now occupied by Peter Holynshed; value 2s. per annum.
