Indenture of covenants for a Bargain and Sale under Bond by Recognisances of even date with these in £500 upon party 2 and £700 upon party 1, in consideration of £660 whereof £300 has been paid and the balance is to be paid in two portions - £100 at Michaelmas next at the sign of the Dagger and Tunns in Breadstreete in London now the Mansion house of John Cotton salter and £260 at the same place at Michaelmas 1552 -with covenants to convey muniments, to prove warranty of title, and to indemnify against claims of dower and unexpired leases; in a moiety of the Manor of Hathersedge county of Derby with all its appurtenances, rights, liberties, customs and incidents of tenure and in all Hollys's lands in the Townes Fielde of territories of Hathersedge, Offerton, Darwent and Castleton county of Derby with all rights in possession or reversion thereto; annual value £18 nett. Certificates subscribed; "Acknowledged before me W.Ermisteed one of his Majesty's Masters in Chancery the year and day within written".

"Enrolled on the dorse of the Close in Chancery the month and year likewise within written by Robert Fletewood".
