DescriptionAward of Arbitrators Sir Vryan Brereton Kt., John Ardern Esq., John Byrkenhed Esq., John Grymesdiche Gent., in a dispute between 1. Sir Edward Waren of Poynton in the countie of Chest'r [Chester], Kt., and 2. Roger Downes of Worthe [Worth], Esq., put to arbitration by Bond 10 July 1547; signed and sealed, Vryan Brereton, Kt., John Birkened, John Grymesdyche.

Award to Downes of tithe and usage of common of pasture and common of turbary for himself and his tenants of Poynton, in waste ground in Poynton called Poynton More, parcel of the inheritance of Edward Waren, and free access for him and his tenants to the chapell of Poynton, and right to ditch and enclose lands between 2 parcels of the said More lately enclosed and occupied by Richard Barton & William Woodde. Award to Warren and his tenants of enclosures made by Peter Brombyll tenant of Edward Waren, in Poynton More, to detriment of common rights of Downes's tenants.
