Bargain and Sale in consideration of £23, with covenants to furnish and convey evidences of title, to Warranty, and to set aside all claims by heirs of Roger Downes and Helen his wife, and to create an estate in fee simple by Christmas next (with a Bond in £60 upon party 1 for the observance); in a messuage and appurtenances in Heton Norres [Heaton Norris] at a place called the Lee yate now occupied by the sd Edward Norres and Elizabeth Norres widow bounded by the lands of Nicholas Longford Esq on the south and the lands of the heirs of Sir James Strangweyes Kt dcsd on the north and "a certan Commen ther called Heton Woodd" on the east and the lands of the heirs of the sd. Strangweyes and the sd. Longford severally on the west; value 16s.per annum; held in pure socage of the heirs of Sir James Strangeweyes Kt dcsd as of his lordship of Heton Norres [Heaton Norris].
