Roger Downes covenants to convey 40 messuages, 40 tofts, 2 mylns, 2 dowrehouses, 40 gardyns, 2,000 acres of land, 80 acres of heath and turbary, and 40 shillings in revenues, in Woorth [Worth], Poynton, Taxall [Taxal], Adlington, Torkynton [Torkington], Kettelsholme [Kettleshulme], Vpton [Upton], Macclesfeild [Macclesfield] and Potteshrigley [Pott Shrigley]; in Trust, to use of Roger Downes for life, remainder to his heirs male down the the heirs male of his eighth son remainder his daughter Frances.
