Description	Apud Maclesf' die lune prox. post fest. Sci. Dunstani, anne dni M.ccc.tertio decimo. Parties: 1. Matilda daughter of Jordan de Schriggeleg, 2. William de Dounes. Quitclaim: acquittance by party 1 for "all that which was agreed between us" for lands in Schriggeleg [Pott Shrigley] demised by Matilda to William. Latin Mark: B; a; 1. Acquetancie Matild le grauenoure de Scriglegh.
Physical Description	Parchment: 1 membrane 7" wide by 2¼", seal tongue, and thong (torn off), joined left. Characteristic form of letter close although the diplomatic of letter patent - " in cuius rei testimonium has litteras meas adquietancie sigillo meo signatas eidem Willelmo fieri feci patentes". Seal pendant on a a tongue, fragment, effaced, green and white, about 20mm diam.
