Feoffment with Warranty against all men to use of Roger Downes for life then of his heirs male begotten of Elizabeth his now wife then of Frances his daughter and her heirs male then of Dorothy and Margaret her sisters in order and their heirs male then of the right heirs of Frances; with power of attorney for entry possession and livery of seisin, to Thomas Stanley of Staple Inne co. Myddlesexe [Middlesex] Gent, Geoffrey Mottershed the younger, Robert Sydebothom, in all Roger Downes's lands etc., in Worth, Poynton, Alyngton [Adlington], Torkynton [Torkington], Taxall [Taxal], Vpton [Upton], Potshrigley [Pott Shrigley], and Macclesfeld [Macclesfield], or elsewhere in co. Chester. Endorsed; certificate of livery of seisin by Robert Sydbothom of a piece of land called the gorsye Feyld in name of all the rest to Henry Delves Esq on 1 September 1586 28 Eliz, witness Thomas Stanley junior.
