Witnesses of sealing and delivery (endorsed): Roger Downes, Anthony Wodhull, Fraunncys Downes, Phillip Osborne.

Bargain and Sale in consideration of £220 paid by Lawrence Downes to party 1 and the other executors of the Will of the late Robert Dokenfeild, of the messuages and tenements etc in Worth and Pointon [Poynton] co.Chester occupied by Lawrence Wood the younger, John Haighe, Humphrey Blackshawe, Lawrence Wood the elder, Elizabeth Hall, John Worth, Reynold Wood, Robert Skelborne, John Cottrell and Roger Ward; to be held by party 2 to use of Lawrence Downes for life then of William Downes his son and the heirs male of William's body then of Richard and Geoffrey Lawrence's second and third sons and of any further sons to be begotten by Lawrence down to his tenth such son, in turn and the heirs male of their bodies, then to use of Lawrence and his right heirs, with reserved right to Lawrence Downes to make leases for 21 years or three lives in the premises.
