Lease in consideration of £90 for term of lives of Randall Lingartt and Elizabeth Lingartt son and daughter of Thomas Lingartt and of Mary Whillicars (Whitticars?) daughter of Thomas Whitticars (?) of Neither Alderley [Nether Alderley] co. Chester yeoman, at 30s. 4d. per annum by customary services and 2 capons at Christmas Day and herriot of best beast and suit of court at Peter Leicester's court at Neither Tabley [Nether Tabley]; with covenants for warranty and repair, and power of attorney to William Leicester and William Key for entry possession and livery of seisin; of a messuage and tenement with appurtenances lying in ouer Alderley late occupied by Thomas Lingartt with all the houses buildings yards orchards gardens lands tenements meadows leasows pastures woods underwoods commons turbary etc.etc. attaching to it except the bodies of timber trees.

Endorsed: certificate of entry and livery of seisin by William Leycester to Thomas Lingart 3 August 1630 witnesses Roger Houghe, Richard Hobsonn, Hamo Witticars.
