George Watts covenants to discharge the debts of George Turner dcsd, at the Purification of B.V.M. next following and over a period of 8 years thereafter by equal portions, if Thomas Turner and George Turner sons of George Turner dcsd shall live so long and provided that Thomas Turner gives George Watts assurance for this purpose out of his means in Adlington. There is one subscription and two endorsements. Subscription: Thomas Holme to be paid at the Purification of Marie/the virgin which shalbe in the yeare of our Lod God 1638 - v£. Endorsement 1; Concerning Tho/Turners debts/memorandum that Sr George/Watts did paie to Tho. Lacie/vi£.xs.for Tho. Turner his/ debt Aboute the xxth daie of/ October in the yeare of our/ lord god 1634 & Tho. Hebbert/ hath the bond in his hands wch/ the said Tho. Lacie delivered in. Endorsement 2; xx£ in viii yeares coms to/ ii£.xs.the yeare/ vi score pound to be paid in viii yeares xx£ coms to/ ii£.viis.vid.the yeare.
