Surrender and Admittance (Fine 2s. 0½d.) for 90 years or life of survivor of William Brombell of Pott Shrigley husbandman, Elena his wife and William Brombell their son, at 12s. per annum to Lawrence Downes and 12d. and one capon per annum to the lord of the manor, remainder Lawrence Downes and his heirs; into all the lands etc in Pottshrigley [Pott Shrigley], 50¼ acres, lately part of the waste and common of Pottshrigley [Pott Shrigley] lately granted in the Halmote of the manor and forest to Lawrence Downes as his purprestures of the waste and commons there by virtue of an Agreement lately made between the now king then prince of Wales and 2. the tenants of the manor, and of a certain Decree lately issued in the Exchequer at Chester.
