William Gaitskell of Lyme Hanley Yeoman, Lawrence Pott of Ranowe [Rainow] Yeoman. Jurors: Sir William Brereton Bt steward for Oliver lord Protector of the Commonwealth of England Scotland and Ireland and the Dominions therunto belonging as Lord of the Manor and Forest afsd, Thomas Edgar Esq, Thomas Adshead, John Massie, John Pownall, John Howley, Nicholas Higginbothom clerk of court. Pledge for fine, John Massie. Surrender and Admittance (Fine £8.18.4.) into copyhold lands in Pottshrigley [Pott Shrigley], Bollington, Ranowe [Rainow] and Hurdesfeild [Hurdsfield] lately held by the sd Lawrence Downes. Physical Description	Parchment: 1 membrane 21½" wide by 11". Seal: Pendant on label, red, effaced, an irregular lump of wax 45 mm diam.
