Lease on consideration £8, for 21 years from Annunciation BVM last past, at £10 per annum, with reserved rights of timber, minerals, and entry, and of distress for default, Harriot 10s., suit of mill owed at the corn mill of Stony Middleton owned by Sir George Seavill of Thornell, co. Yorke [York], Bt., with further proviso (endorsed) reserving right of way for William Hawley through a close called Springbancktopp or Broadclose, to a close adjoining called the Ryclose; of closes called the Haughe, the S......croft (6 minims), the Pallis, and one part of the Great close called the Springbancktoppe, with buildings etc., thereon, all within the Manor or Lordship of Nether Padley, in the parish of Hope, now held by Anthony Olliver.
