William Watts of Adlington co. Chester Yeoman, 3. Francis Hobson late of Butley and now of the Pasture in Over Alderley afsd, co. Chester,Gent.

Lease in consideration of £517 for term of 9 years at a peppercorn rent with covenants for upkeep and repair and for mantainance of title; in pusuance of a trust created by Indentures of Lease and Release 11 and 12 February 1681 (33 Chas II) whereby Thomas Hobson late of Over Alderley Gent dcsd conveyed an estate in a messuage and tenement then owned by him called The Pasture in Over Alderley and another then held by Henry Burges in the same place and all other messuages lands etc. in Over Alderley in which Hobson was seised, to Thomas Hollinshead, William Brownell, and George Massie to use for life of Thomas Hobson thereafter to use of trustees for 200 years or until they have carried out terms of trust thereafter use of Thomas Hobson and his heirs for securing out of the issues of the estate all Thomas Hobson's debts legacies and funeral expenses such as could not be met from his personalty. The money raised by this present lease is to be used is settlement of such remaining debts and legacies, Thomas Hobson being the creator of the trust the trustees act as agents in his behalf and that of Francis who is made party to these.
