Lease on consideration of £132 and surrender of a lease; for term of life of Jonathan Green and John Greene sons of Edward Greene of Adlington and life of Elizabeth Howley of the one house in Ranow [Rainow] widow, or survivor; with houseboot, heyboot, hedgeboot, plowboot, carteboot, and fireboot but reserved mineral rights; at a rent of £3. 2. 8. per annum and 2 capons at Easter or 2s. and 3 young hens at Christmas or 1s. 6d. and Harriot of best beast or £5 and the obligation of scouring part of the "milne fleam in Adlington" as required, with suit of mill due to Thomas Legh's mill at Adlington and suit of court at his court, and with right to him of distress for non-observance; power of attorney to George Newton and William Watts servants of Thomas Legh for entry possession and livery of seisin: of a messuage in Adlington co. Chester formerly occupied by Thomas Greene proctor desd and now by Thomas Lea.
