Articles of Agreement concerning the payment of purchase money of £6,325 agreed upon in a Treaty between the parties (said to be annexed to this doct, now missing but in part recited) for the sale of the manor or reputed manor, barton, farm and demesne lands of Old Knoll in Minehead, Dunstar and other parishes and places in the county of Somersett [Somerset] (specified as follows in the recited treaty afsd;- the Barton of old Knoll, a tenement called West Horwood, a tenement called Biniford alias Tortislinch, six tenements occupied by widow Berryman, Henry Stockeham, Charles Hill, Mr Fortescue, Edward Radford, John Elsworthy, and two tenements occupied by and called Elsworthys and Amos Owens, and three tenements occupied by Mary Escott, Henry Leigh, John Spurrier, a tenement called Cowbridge and a house, garden and orchard in Dunster occupied by Mr Blackford, and the manor with its courts and royalties etc and a house and 3 acres of land occupied by John Davis).

Party 1 to transfer muniment now held by himself and Mr Appleby; and to free the estate from incumbrances laid on it by himself or his father John Trevelyan dcsd or his grandfather Anthony Trevelyan Esq dcsd; and to confirm a Deed Poll of even date between the parties concerning timber rights. Party 2 to pay to party 1 £25 now and £12. 10. 0. on 3 February next and £12. 10. 0. on 3 May next; to Cesar Chamberlan of London Esq £2,700 by 24 January next in settlement of a claim on the estate held by Chamberlan and the late Countess of Orrery dcsd; to John Pearce, William Moore, Joseph Willis and Edward Jerman creditors by Bond of Thomas Trevelyan Esq dcsd such sums as are awarded them in Chancery on their claims; to John Withers of London Gent creditor under Bond of party 1 date 8 May 1693 payable 25 July 1693 £161. 5. 0.
