Mortgage; covenant in consideration of £450 paid by party 4 to Humphrey Swindells and John Jolley, and 12d. each to other parties, to convey to party 4 within three months, by Surrender according to custom of Manor and Forest of Macclesfeild [Macclesfield], or otherwise, an estate, to be redeemed on payment to party 4 by party 1 of £477 by 18 September 1712, in messuages, cottages, tenements, lands, meadows, pastures, etc., in Rainow and Potshrigley [Pott Shrigley], county of Chester, or elsewhere within the Manor and Forest of Macclesfeild [Macclesfield], which were the copyhold of Jasper Swindells dcsd (late father of party 1) now held by party 1; except certain closes on Horderne Moore in Rainow granted to Thomas Lowe by Surrender from party 1.
