DescriptionLicence for Edward Downes Esq., Thomas Henshall and John Unwin to erect a gallery 35 feet long and 16 feet broad in the west end of the Chappell of Pott [Pott Shrigley], with a staircase thereto leading out of the Belfry, given in Letters Testimonial of Peregrine Gastrell, Esq., LL. B., Vicar General and Official Principal of the Rt. Rev. Samuel, bishop of Chester, in pursuance of a Decree of Consistory Court of Chester 25 September 1735 consequent of an Edict published at morning service at the Chappel of Pott [Pott Shrigley] 21 September 1735 to a petition from the Curate, Chapelwardens and leading inhabitants of the Chapelry of Pott [Pott Shrigley], parish of Prestbury, county and diocese of Chester.
