Deed of Covenants (concelled): Covenant by party 1 upon consideration of 10s., and in order to indemnify party 2 from Bond Debts wherein they stand surety fro Party 1 (v. Schedule infra), to Surrender at the next Halmote Court of the Manor and Forest of Macclesfield, premises listed infra, to party 2 in trust to uses, viz;- party 2 by sale, auction or private treaty, or by surrender, of premises, to raise money to reimburse their own expenses and pay off Debts afsd., and any mortgages now extant; residue of lands and balance of money to be re-conveyed to party 1. Party 1 gives assurance that his title is untrammeled, save for a Mortgage to John Brocklehurst of Macclesfield Esq., for £1,900, with which the premises are to stand charged in the meantime.

Premises involved;- messuages in Bollington, county of Chester, within the manor & forest of Macclesfield, called Cockshutt Hay (occupied by William Shird), the Nabb (occupied by Thomas Snape), Hill Top (occupied by Thomas Bradley), a close or croft in Bollington, manor & forest afsd., formerly held by Thomas Baguley dcsd., now occupied by Moses Snape, a copyhold capital messuage called Ridacre Hall in Pott Shrigley with fields appurtenant in Pott Shrigley, manor & forest afsd., called The Further Marled Ground, The Nearer Marled Ground, the Hill Meadow, the Bleaching Yard, the Nearer Kitchen Croft, the Further Kitchen Croft, the Pott Field, the Six Day Work, the Marled Ground, and the Round Meadow; all formerly occupied by Thomas Turner and George Turner, afterwards by John Alcock & Edward Alcock, lately by Thomas Richardson and now by William Braddock; together with rights in a third share of coals mined therein, the other two thirds belonging to the Devisees under Will of Legh Watson Gent., dcsd.; a messuage or cottage in Hurdsfield, county of Chester, manor and forest afsd., formerly occupied by Widow Clarke, lately by Isaac Shrigley and now of George Oldfield and John Browne; chief rents of 1s. per annum from a copyhold messuage in Bollington called Shatwell fold now the inheritance of William Smallwood, 6d. per annum from a copyhold messuage in Bollington called Mode Hill now the inheritance of Thomas Brookes, 1s. per annum from lands in Bollington called Shatwell fold now the inheritance of Henry Barton, 2s. per annum from a messuage in Hurdsfield called Swansco, 1s. per annum from a messuage in Hurdsfield called Doncaster Hill.
