Feoffment de capitali domino with Warranty contra omnes gentes, for term of life, remainder William son of Elena de Aston and his heirs begotten, remainder John brother of the sd.William son of Elena, remainder Thomas, John's brother and his heirs begotten, remainder right heirs of William de Chaddekyrke; in a place with buildings in Macclesfeld [Macclesfield], lying in Jordanisgate between the places of William del Rowe on both sides; and a place there lying between that place which Alice who was wife of John le Gaoler holds on the one side and the place of John de Strangways on the other; and two "celdas" (shops or stalls) in the market-place between that of Robert le Mercere on the one side and that which belonged to John de Astebury on the other.
