Administrative History	Peter Davenport Finney was the youngest brother of Samuel Finney III. He went into business as a merchant and grocer in Manchester. About 1785 he left his business in Manchester to live in the house he had built at Oversley Ford. He succeeded his brother in 1798 and went to live at Fulshaw Hall. He died in 1800.
