Title	Journal of Hugh Robert Hibbert

Description	The Journal is entered in Lett's Diary and Almanack for the year 1855 and bears the following inscription on the inside of the paper cover: "Hugh R Hibbert, Captain., Royal Fusiliers. A present from the Colonel on Thursday March 8th 1855. Camp before Sebastopol." There is a small "doodle" of a tent and hut on the title page. Retrospective notes of piquet duty are made back to 1 January and longer entries commence on 6 March.
