| Administrative History | Elizabeth Harriet, Viscountess Bulkeley, was the daughter and sole heir of Sir George Warren of Poynton (d 1801). By her will proved in 1826, she left her estates in Widdrington and elsewhere in Northumberland, estates in Cheshire and in Heaton Norris, Lancashire to Frances Maria Sedley Vernon, daughter of Sir John Borlase Warren and wife of George Sedley Vernon, and her remaining estates in Lancashire to George Leicester, eldest son of Sir John Fleming Leicester of Tabley. The maps of Poynton and Worth are presumably accidental transfers when the records of her estate were split |
