Description	Estates acquired by purchase from the Oldfields, Rawdons and Bracebridges, 1710-1800. Include: Somerford Park, Somerford Radnor [manor], Congleton [manor], Brereton cum Smethwick [manor]. Lands in Newbold Astbury, Davenport, Sandlow Green, Arclid, Wallhil, Bent, Reeves, West Heath, Coutrhouse and Dunkirk. Approximately 4,000 acres. Moreton Estates in Cheshire were acquired by marriage with co-heiress of G.H. Ackers in 1860 and lands in Moreton, Smallwood, Hassal, Haslington, Wheelock, Sandbach and Astbury.
