| Description | The release being a conveyance from Elizabeth Sloughter formerly of Eccleston, Cheshire, now of Chester, spinster, to Margaret Holford of the same, widow, of a messuage with yards, backsides etc. on the W. side of St. John Street formerly in the tenure of Alexander Eaton and since sold by William Smith, esq. and Esther, his wife, daughter of Alexander and Elizabeth Eaton, to Thomas Jackson, from when Elizabeth Sloughter purchased the same; also all the yard to the N. of the said messuage formerly the side of another messuage with the yard area, out-buildings etc., which before it was pulled down was in the tenure of Robert Fearnall, and all that building adjoining the city walls at the W. end of the last mentioned property, lately made into a coach house and shop ever it by the said Elizabeth Sloughter, all of which premises were lately the residence of the said Elizabeth, excepting the said shop over the coach house opening to the city walls now in the tenure of John Lowe, sadler.
