18 - ACT for sale of part of the settled estate of Sir Thomas Broughton Bt. situate in the County of STAFFORD; and purchasing other Estates situate in the County of CHESTER to be settled to the same uses; and for extinguishing the sd. Sir Thomas Broughton's power of making leases for lives as to part of his settled Estate in the County of Chester, and making such recompense to him for the same as therein is mentioned. Property in Staffs. proposed for sale: Manors of CHAPEL and HILL CHARLTON and messuages etc: in CHORLTON, CROXTON, ASHLEY, ASTON, WESTON, BOWERS, SHELTON, PERSHALL, SUGNALL, TUNSTALL, OLD LEA and KEMPSEY, THREE-FARMS, DROYNTON, BAGNALL and BEMERSLEY; the trustees, out of the money arising from such sale are to pay the sum of £46,500 for the absolute purchase of the Manor of HASLINGTON with appurts., and a further sum of £12,000 to the sd. Wybunbury, called Weston Hall Farm, with closes belonging, messuage, tenement and farm at CHECKLEY, called Checkley Hall Farm and closes belonging, and other messuages etc: there, messuage and farm at LEA HOUGH and DODDINGTON, messuages, tenements and farms at LEA, and messuages, farms and lands at WALGHERTON, for the separate maintenance of the sd. Lady Broughton during the joint lives and separation of her and the sd. Sir John Delves Broughton; and for further securing the sd. annuity to the sd. John Egerton, the sd.
