DescriptionGRANT in fee by Hugh de Malpas, rector of a moiety of the church of Malpas, to William de Larketon, of all his lands, tenements etc; in the townships of LARKETON [Larkton] , HAMPTON, BICKERTON and EGGE [Edge], except those lands and tenements which belonged to Randle de Eggerton and Hugh Benet in LARKETON, and to David son of David de Malpas in HAMPTON, which said lands and tenements the said William gave to Patrick his son and Matilda daughter of John del Lee his wife and their heirs; to the said William for life, remainder to Patrick his son and Matilda his wife and their heirs. Witnesses: David de Malpas, William de Bulkeley and David Dod. Given at Larketon, in the feast of St. George, 10 Richard II. Seal: Black on a red ground, armorial, a chevron between 3 arrow heads, legend 'Sigillum Hugonis de Malpas'. Parchment.
