DescriptionLEASE (counterpart) for 3 lives, by the Rt. Hon. Hugh Earl of Cholmondeley to John Wicksted of Nantwich, gentleman --- a parcel of land at SHROWBRIDG [Shrewbridge] in BADDINGTON called Shrowbridg Meadow, now in the holding of Joseph Holland, and a piece of building called the pump house, being a cover to the brine spring in the said meadow, the Brine Turnells for storing of Brine now lying in the wich house and the timber in the brine pits; the said John Wicksted being at the charge of getting up the same and of taking down and rebuilding the pump house, with liberty to take the salt rubbish for filling up the said Brine pit and levelling the meadow; for lives of Richard Wicksted, John Wicksted and Thomas Wicksted, sons of the said John, at an annual rent of 20/-.
