[1] Party 1, William Maynwaryng [Mainwaring] of Ightfeld [Ightfield], esquire, and Thomas Maynwaryng [Mainwaring], his son [2] to party 2, William Tattenhall of Bulkelegh [Bulkeley], and John Heth of Hampton, [3] one croft in the vill of Macfen [Macefen] called 'le myll mor', and one site for a mill and two ponds with two [4] banks and fishing with rights for them, and with all other appurtenances. To be had and held [6] to the said William and John, their heirs and assigns, in perpetuity of the chief lords of that fee by services thereby owed and of law customary, rendering [7] annually to William and Thomas, their heirs and assigns, four shillings of legal tender at two terms of [8] the year, namely the feast of the nativity of Saint John the Baptist and Saint Martin in Winter, in equal amounts. [Warranty clause]. [12] Witnesses: Ranulph Brereton of Malpasse [Malpas], esquire, Ralph Werburton, [13] Hugh Browe, and many others. Given at Tussingham [Tushingham] on the said twenty third day of April, in the [14] second year of the reign of king Henry the Seventh, after the conquest.
