[1] Party 1William Tatnall of Hartell in the county of Chester, and John Hethe in the county aforesaid [Harthill?]
[2] have returned, surrendered and warranted to party 2, William Bellingiam of Highfeld' in the county of [Bellingham]
[3] Shropshire and Richard Boswell of Malpas in the county of Chester, one croft in the vill of Mastfen le millinore [Macefen]
[4] and one site of a mill, two ponds with two banks for the same, and with fishing rights for those ponds, and
[5] with other appurtenances the said Mascfen [Macefen] in the aforesaid county, which William Tatnall and John Hethe
[6] recently held as a gift of William Manweringe of Highfelde [High Field]. To be had and held to
[8] the said William Bellingiam and Richard Boswell, their heirs and assigns in perpetuity from the chief lords of those fees
[9] by services thereby due and customary of law. The said William Tatnall and
[10] John Hethe have also appointed as their attorneys
[11] William Mascley of Bradeley [Bradley] in the aforeasid county and William Twkyn of Mascfen [Macefen] in
[12] the aforesaid county, jointly and separately to begin for us and our name
[13] to enter into the said croft, mill-site, two ponds with two banks and
[14] fishing rights for those ponds with their appurtenances, and thereby to take possession and seisin
[15] and afterwards to deliver for them and in their name to the said William Billingiam and Richard Boswell
[16] or their [heirs or assigns], full and peaceable possession and seisin of and in the same croft,
[17] mill site, two ponds with two banks, and with fishing rights for the ponds, and with other
[18] appurtenances according to the strength, form and effect of this their present charter made thereby right acceptable to them,
[19] to have all and whatever the said attorneys, or either of them will do for them and their name
[20] in the premises.
[21] Given at Mascfen [Macefen] on the seventh day of November, in the fourth year of the reign of Henry VII.
