To be had and held [4] to the said David, son of David for his entire life of the chief lord of that fee by services which pertain to the same tenements, so that [5] after the death of David, son of David, all aforesaid tenements with appurtenances remain to David of Eggerton [Egerton], bastard, and the heirs issuing of David's body. To be held of the chief [6] lord of that fee by services which pertain to the same tenements, and so should it happen that the said David of Eggerton [Egerton], bastard, dies without heir issuing of his body, [7] then all the aforesaid tenements with appurtenances shall remain to Thomas of Eggerton [Egerton], bastard, and the heirs issuing of his body. To be held of the chief [8] lord etc. Thus if it should happen that Thomas dies without heir issuing of his body, then [9] all the aforesaid tenements with appurtenances shall remain to John of Eggerton [Egerton], bastard, and the heirs issuing of his body. To be held of the chief lord etc. [10] And so if the said John dies without heir issuing of his body, then [11] all the aforesaid tenements with appurtenances shall remain to Brian, son of David of Eggerton [Egerton], his heirs and assigns.
