[1] Grant by Henry de Tatenhale [Tattenhall], chaplain, to Mabel, daughter of Hutr'd [Ughtred] le Bryd
[2] of all his land and tenement, his part of the mill and lordship(?) and shared ownership with messuages, curtilages, meadows and all other appurtenances in the vill of
[3-4] Barton which Richard son of John de Huxlegh gave to him to have and hold the of the chief lords of the fee by services owed and by customary right.
[5-6] Granted to Mabel and to the legitimate heirs of the said Mabel and Richard, son of John de Huxlegh,
[7-8] If Mabel should die without legitimate heirs of Mabel and Richard, all shall remain to John son of John de Huxlegh and his heirs and assigns for ever.
[11-12] Warranty clause. Witnesses: John de Warenna, lord of Stretton, Davyd de Barton, Robert de Huxlegh [Huxley], Robert de Codynton [Coddington], Hugh le Bryd and many others.
