[1] Party 1 Vivian de Colschagh [Colshaw?] and Henry de Chedele [Cheadle], chaplains, to [2] party 2 Richard, son of Roger de Vernon, and Felicia, his wife, daughter of Richard of Bulkilegh [Bulkeley], and the heirs [3] of their bodies, two messuages and thirty acres of land with appurtenances in Chedele [Cheadle], and one plot [4] of land with appurtenances in the same vill called Chircheleghker [Church lea car] and one plot of land with appurtenances in the same vill called [5] Blevenestok with the entire meadow and hay adjacent to it, and one moss-ground with appurtenances in the same vill just as the boundaries [6] there bear and show. [7] to hold of the chief lord for customary services. [8] with all liberties, easements, etc [9] as are more clearly described in the original charters. And if Richard and Felicia should die without heirs of their bodies, [10] all aforesaid lands and tenements with appurtenances are to remain in full to the heirs issued of the body of Richard himself. [11] And if Richard should die without heirs of his body [12] all lands and tenements aforesaid with appurtenances are to remain in full to party 2 Roger, his brother, and [13] the heirs issued of his body. And should it happen that [14] Roger die without heirs of his body, then the aforesaid lands and tenements with appurtenances [15] shall remain in full to John, his brother, and the heirs of his body. And should it happen [16] that John should die without heirs of his body, then all aforesaid lands and tenements with appurtenances [17] shall remain in full to the rightful heirs of the aforesaid party 2 Richard, son of Roger.
