Jeffery claimed to appoint two for the township of Allostocke, & one for Nether Peu’ [Nether Peover] was to be alternately chosen by Jefferey & Robert Cholmeley. Peter claimed to appoint one of the churchwardens for Allostocke [Allostock] & to appoint alternatively with Lord Cholmeley for Nether Peu’. It was settled that Jeffery Shakerley should elect one church warden a year for Allostocke, the other was to be elected alternately by Jeffery & Peter, and Lord Cholmondley, & Peter were to elect a church warden for Nether Pever alternately. Signed Thomas Cholmondeley. Seal applied to the paper in red wax. Top margin indented.
