DescriptionAnnouncement from the Queen that inspection had been made of an enrollment of an indenture, made 13 Apr 1575 among the records of the Exchequer at Chester by which Peter Lecester granted to Adam Lecester and William Lecester, that he would, before Christmas next, cause to be conveyed to Thomas Stavey of Alderley, Richard Brereton of Tatton and John Maisterson of Alderley the messuages and lands, salt houses and 2 shops, a chamber, a stable and a small chamber in Northwich, all his messuages etc in the townships of Shurlach and Northwich, all messuages etc in the township of Marston and Wyncham, and all the messuages salthouses etc in the Northwich lately and a messauges in Over Tabley (see DLT A/2/28).
