Title	Indenture by which John de Leycestr’ granted to William del Helde & Goditha his wife, the manor of Helde for 60s a year at the Nativity of St John the Baptist.

Description	Wed after St John the Baptist. If he dies without heirs the manor is to revert to John. If he alienates it, or part of it, John and his heirs have the right to seize it. Warranty. Announcement of seals. Witnessed by Hugh de Venables of Kynderton, Ralph de Modburlegh knights, Hugh de Pickem’s John Boydel de Lytmme, Robert de Chelmundelegh John son of Hugh de Merbur’ & Hugh de Burwes & many others. Given at Helde. Seal in brown wax on a tag. Top margin indented & lettered. Latin. The counterpart too is marked M.13. Seal in dark brown wax. Formerly filed with /8-12, 14-17.
