Title	Indenture by which John Brid’s wife, Margaret, made an agreement with Elena Holte as to the partition of the manor of Helde.

Description	Regnal year - 1 Henry V Announcement of seals. Witnessed by Laurence Morbury knight, Geoffrey Holte, Geoffrey Dutton, Robert Andurton, Thomas Wryght & John Medowe & many others. Seal in red wax on a tag. Top margin indented. Formerly filed with /19-29. Entry in Book of Evidences I. A pedigree for William del Helde & Goditha his wife follows F.18b so the Manor of Helde granted away by John Leicester unto William del Helde and his heirs ano domini 1357, reserving only the yearly chiefe rent of 40 shillings is now come wholly again unto the heires of the said John Lecester; the one moity anno domini 1500, the other moity anno domini 1600 - (for account of this see Ormerod Ip.612).
