Cyrograph by which John son of Robert de Rylandis a co-parcener of the waste of the vill of Halghton granted to Henry Abbot of Cokrsond & the convent there all his rights in the waste at Halghton, saving to John & his men their lands in the vill and reasonable common pasture and housebote & haybote in the woods of Halghton & pannage. The abbot had power to enclose the waste. The abbot confirmed to John & his heirs 14 acres – boundaries given. Announcement of seals. Witnessed by Geoffrey de Chetham, then sheriff of Lancaster Henry de Thurbec, Warin de Waletona, Thurstan de Holond, Hugh Norrens' Roger de Penhulbyrie, John Gilibrond, Magister William de Prestona, Adam de Leethe, clerk & others. Seal in green wax on a tag. Top margin indented. Ruled parchment. Latin.
