TitlePassage Court Rolls
Date1463-1745
DescriptionCases not settled in the pentice court could be transferred to the passage court which was also presided over by the sheriffs and where cases were tried before a jury. In the sixteenth century, the passage court met about eight times a year, but because its meetings became less frequent, in October 1691, the Assembly ordered these courts to be held regularly in December, March, June and September.
