TitleContract between William Cowper and Edward Burrows, Aldermen and Justices of the Peace, and Samuel Sedgley, William Hillhouse and William Randolph of Bristol, merchants, for the transportation of Owen Jacob alias Morris to America for 7 years, according to an order made at Chester General Sessions on 21 July 1766, when the said Owen Jacob was convicted of falsely obtaining goods belonging to Thomas Griffith, grocer, by means of a forged letter in the name of Thomas Hughes.
