22 - Letter Patent to Henry VIII by which for 20s paid into the hanaper, he granted licence to William Sharington to grant to Thomas Dutton all the salt houses lately held by Gilbert Sutton in Nortwhich [Northwich], in the parish of Budworth, recently belonging to the Abbey of Vale Royal. - 8 Jul 1544

23 - William Sharington, mentioned the grant made by Letters Patent of Henry VIII (DLT A/22/22) and announced that he had granted the salthouses fo Thomas Dutton, to hold of the king for service of a twentieth of a knight’s fee and 6s 8d a year. - 5 Jul 1544
